
Brett Rush received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing as well as a Masters of Science in the Family Nurse Practitioner program from the University of Utah. He is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau, the American Nurses Association as well as the Utah Nurses Association. He is professionally certified in adult, pediatric, and neonatal advanced life support.
Brett has explored many aspects of nursing working in neonatal intensive care, pediatrics, adult intensive care, and emergency medicine. Brett also spent several years flying with the University of Utah's air medical flight team. Brett has worked as a nurse practitioner in family practice, urgent care, and with interventional radiology. He is currently working as a member of the vascular surgery team at Utah Vascular Center and Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. He specializes in both inpatient and outpatient preoperative and postoperative screening exams. He also functions as a surgical assistant.
